About me
I was once in a group meeting and we were asked, “If you were a kitchen utensil, what would you be?” There were sporks and spatulas, but I said a sponge. I soak up information and love to learn about things I don’t know.

Currently living in New York City, I grew up in Miami, Florida. I love the change of seasons up north, especially fall.
I’ve been creating and designing for people’s needs for a long time in a variety of ways. I’ve worked in healthcare for many years as an Occupational Therapist, which gave me a deep understanding of accessibility and the physical, emotional, and cognitive needs that people require to complete tasks.
Since I was a kid I’ve been creating art and designing things. Although I worked in healthcare, I never lost my passion for design and went to grad school for it. For a few years in New York City I worked as an art director. I loved my time doing this and had the pleasure of working with a really great and diverse set of people.
I’ve been working for three years now as a product designer for a variety of fast paced startups. It’s always invigorating to take on new projects in different industries.
I’m open and eager to learn more to continue creating meaningful and innovative digital user experiences for people in different ways.
